The Old Methodist Church has stood proud as a local landmark to the heart of this most sought after of Lincolnshire villages since 1906. In the 1990s it was used as commercial office space up until 2018 when the property was offered for sale. Thankfully the church was acquired by an entertainment industry impresario with the vision and inspiration to create something truly remarkable. The idea was to retain as much as possible the original church design blending with modern fitment with hidden technology, the result has provided a striking home of some considerable appeal and intrigue with many of its original detailing remaining. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully designed and offers many superb living areas including the main hall showcasing the original pitched exposed timber “cathedral” height ceiling having three separate sitting rooms off the galleried landing. The dining room and high specification kitchen each have bi-folding doors opening into the kitchen to make a magnificent open plan entertaining area. There is also a cinema room with ‘Dolby Atmos’ 7 speaker surround system and leopard print cinema chairs obtained from the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square. There are five en-suite bedrooms, two on the ground floor and two of the first-floor bedrooms are all equal size with the main bedroom having pitched timber ceiling, stained glass windows, dressing room and en-suite with twin side by side roll top baths. The distinctive tower is accessible via a private staircase providing views (arguably the best in Woodhall Spa) over the rooftops of the village.
